Portraits, Landscape and Abstracts

The colourful characters memorialised as portraits; incredible landscape and places; as well as stunning abstract interpretations embrace the glories of the past and the present moment, charting tomorrow by looking ahead. Through the Portraits, Landscape and Abstract, the expression of Malaysian modernisation through art is represented by a selection of artworks from the 1960s until 2010s displayed in a Glass Room that also symbolises the development in the Malaysian architecture landscape.

The orchestral background music titled Seri Mersing is performed by the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, composed by Abu Kassim and arranged by Ahmad Muriz Che Rose.
