Through the Looking Glass

Always thinking outside the box, Malaysian artists from different generations have produced remarkable artworks that tell the stories of their time. In forging a new future for Malaysia, the glories of the past are memorialised and the present moment charts tomorrow by looking ahead.

Through the Looking Glass is an expression of the modernisation of Malaysian art represented by a selection of artworks from the 1960s until 2010s displayed in a Glass Room that also symbolises the development in the Malaysian architecture landscape.

The orchestral background music titled Lenggang Mak Limah is performed by the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, composed by Abu Kassim and arranged by Ahmad Muriz Che Rose.
