This Tea Talk series features Sarah Radzi and Paul Nickson Atia, Khazanah’s Arts Residency Programme alumni of 2024.
Sarah Radzi Sarah – born in Penang and primarily works with painting and drawing, explores the relationship between identity and personal space. From observing her surroundings, rationalising her emotions, and conversations with people she encounters – a recurring artwork theme contemplating the daily life occurrences.
Paul Nickson Atia – a Sarawak-born artist and educator, whose work delves into architecture, identity, and cultural narratives, often framed within social and historical contexts. The themes of spirituality, time, modularity, memory, and desire are integral to his practice in constructing and claiming meanings.
