Zaharuddin Sarbini is a self-taught artist and a graduate of Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Technology Malaysia, Jalan Gurney, Kuala Lumpur, in 1987. His realistic paintings highlight the beauty of nature, particularly images of succulent tropical fruits on trees. He works from his Kuala Lumpur Craft Complex studio on Jalan Conlay. His past solo exhibitions included “Indah 2”, organised by City Art Gallery, Kuala Lumpur, in 2013 and a show at Balai Berita, The News Straits Times Press, Kuala Lumpur. He has participated in many group exhibitions locally since 1996.
