Mohd Asri Mat Yaman is a batik artist and a batik entrepreneur who is also known as Puyie Batik who is based in Kelantan. The versatility of his exquisite designs and the intricate use of batik canting makes him one of the recognised batik painters in the batik art scene. He also produces batik semutar with motifs that resonate with Kelantanese traditions such as rebana ubi, wau, keris and floral. In 2016, his work was displayed in the Batik: Expression of Identities exhibition at the Chinese Cultural Centre Museum in Vancouver, Canada.
