The Malaysian Story is formed through diverse perspectives by eight Malaysian contemporary artists from flora and fauna; socio-political commentary; history to current society. Their thought-provoking artworks offer a perceptive lens into the realities of contemporary Malaysia.
The artworks are displayed in a Pavilion-themed room inspired by the early modernism architecture of Malaysia infused with Islamic style through the work of Masjid Negara and Houses of Parliament in the 1960s.
Performed by the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, the orchestral piece Lenggang Mak Limah is composed by Abu Kassim and arranged by Ahmad Muriz Che Rose.
